Visa requirements
It is the sole responsibility of the delegate to take care of his/her visa requirements. Delegates who require an entry visa must allow sufficient time for the application procedure. Delegates should contact the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of their visa applications. All visa applications should be submitted to the authorities 90 days before travelling to the U.S. the latest.
Delegate registration details might be shared with the U.S. immigration authorities to assist in the immigration process. However, the conference organizers and/or the HTAi 2014 Conference Secretariat will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants.
The HTAi 2014 conference organizers strongly recommend that potential delegates visit the website of the U.S. embassy/consulate in their country as soon as possible to learn about the specific U.S. immigration processes and timing that will apply to them.
All visa applications should be made no later than 90 days before travelling to the U.S. (i.e. no later than mid-April 2014 for conference delegates).
If you have had your visa application denied please inform the conference secretariat by writing to . Please note that the conference is unable to intervene in the visa application process.
